Fed Cuts Rates 75 Basis Points
The Federal Reserve, confronted with a global stock sell-off fanned by increased fears of a recession, cut a key interest rate by three-quarters of a percentage point on Tuesday. The Fed said it was cutting the federal funds rate, the interest that banks charge each other on overnight loans, to 3.5 percent, down by three-fourths of a percentage point from 4.25 percent.
GFET pushing heavy on the advertising side
You may have notice a lot of ads appearing for GFET - Gulf Ethanol Corp. Clearly they have an active IR department with a budget to blanket financial sites with their ads, but how is the stock doing?
With ethanol being pushed on the political arena, some buyers have come into the stock. A wedge pattern is forming here, support at $1, resistance at $1.80.
STTK falling to new lows
Im going to stick a caution sign on this once popular stock, it has broken through all support levels and last traded at 3c. Until something solid hits the wires, be wary of entering or averaging down.
